Technically, it was a very difficult job. Every single piece of glass on that dome is different. In fact, there isn’t a single piece that is even close to the same. If it wasn’t for Lami Glass being as organized as they were, we could have potentially lost tens of thousands of dollars a day in fines and penalties.

There were a lot of eyes on this project and multiple stakeholders contributing throughout so the glass supplier had a very large responsibility to supply a good quality product. There was a lot of stressful moments with a lot of dialogue going on. Communication on this project was so important because of the custom makeups.

Once we were on the job, things fit like they were designed. The biggest thing was having the material here on time and Hartung did a great job at that. They would deliver several floors at a time, on time, which is what we were counting on. The quality required was over and above requirements and they worked with us to get it right.
