September 2017 2017 Glass Magazine Award Winner: Most Innovative Glass Floor, Stair or Rail Project

Solar Roadways' public pilot installation using tempered glass supplied by Hartung Glass Industries was installed in February 2017 in Sandpoint, Idaho. There are thirty glass panels that contain solar cells, heating elements and LED lights.

September 2015 GOING THE DISTANCE: Hartung Glass Industries / Joel Berman Glass Studios Collaborate to supply Decorative Glass at New International Airport in Qatar.

"We took on a huge job. It was the biggest project we had ever tackled before," said Ray Jensen, Seattle Production Manager for Hartung Glass Industries. "Combine that with working with three different locations and to come out as successfully as we did, it was a big undertaking and is something that we're proud of."

June 15, 2015 Glass Magazine: Mossom Creek Hatchery Fire-Rated Glass Floor

Hartung is proud to have contributed to the rebuilding of the Mossom Creek Hatchery in Port Moody, BC. Completely destroyed by a fire in December 2013, the project was 100% organized and funded by volunteers and private donations. Hartung Canada laminated the fire-rated glass floor/skylight supplied by Greenlite Glass Systems Inc. that allows visitors to look down into the salmon hatchery from the second floor observations deck and from the hatchery to the outdoors.

Hartung Glass Industries and Guardian Industries have announced that Hartung Glass Dallas (Farmer's Branch), Texas is the latest Hartung location to be certified as an independent Guardian Select Fabricator. Hartung Dallas joins Hartung's Seattle, Wilsonville and Sacramento locations as Guardian Select Fabricators offering SunGuard Advanced Architectural Glass Products. "The addition of the Forel insulating glass line further solidifies the company's role in the flat glass market and will increase the value that Hartung delivers to customers," stated Bob Cummings, Southwest Regional Sales Manager for Hartung Glass Industries.

February 2011 Glass Canada Magazine: Trends in curtain wall design

At 62 storeys, Living Shangrila is the tallest building in Vancouver. A special feature are the 1340 luminescant panels known as "buttons". Measuring 24-inches square they were laminated by Lami Glass Products. The buttons conceal exhaust vents and change color during the day depending on the light source and viewing angle.
